As Chelsea's players prepare for international duty, more fallout has emerged regarding the Blues' recent managerial change and their busy summer in the transfer market

We might only be a month into the new Premier League season, but plenty has already happened as far as Chelsea are concerned.
The Blues are already onto their second manager of the season, with Graham Potter stepping into the dugout after Thomas Tuchel was sacked by new owner Todd Boehly. Potter has already taken charge of his first game - a Champions League draw against Red Bull Salzburg - but has a league bow to come after the international break.
There has been plenty of fallout already over the London club's managerial and player changes, but it might not be done just yet. Here are the latest news lines coming from Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea forward Kai Havertz has revealed he was surprised to see Thomas Tuchel sacked by the club. However, the German international confirmed new boss Graham Potter has already made a good early impression.
"You can’t talk about a messed-up start to the season with our current 6th place in the table, especially since we have a lot of newcomers who first have to acclimatise," the former Bayer Leverkusen man said. Speaking to Sport 1, he shared his interviewer's shock at the decision, which came in the aftermath of a Champions League defeat at Dinamo Zagreb.
“But football is very fast-moving, a lot can happen at any time," Havertz continued. "Our new coach has made a very good impression; we have a great squad. I think we are in for a good time.”

Former Chelsea boss Tuchel could be required to leave the UK, with his visa situation unclear. The manager has remained in England after his dismissal, but is awaiting clarity over his next steps.

The former Paris Saint-Germain coach was one of the first foreign managers to arrive in the Premier League on a post-Brexit Governing Body Endorsement visa. This could mean he is forced to leave the country within 90 days of his sacking, as reported by the Telegraph.
“We will act in accordance with UK rules and adapt all future plans. Final decisions are not made yet,” a representative for the 49-year-old said.

Former Chelsea target Jonathan Clauss has shed more light on his summer movements. The right-back had been strongly linked with the Blues, only to end up trading Lens for Marseille.
“I didn’t want to sign for Chelsea to one day say I signed for Chelsea," Clauss told Info Sport (via the Evening Standard ). "It was really to try and keep playing, to discover the Champions League. Marseille ticked all the boxes I was looking for.”
Clauss, who turns 30 later this month, has started both of Marseille's Champions League group games. He was also called up to the France squad for their September UEFA Nations League games, playing the full 90 minutes in a victory over Austria.
